Funny Iphone 4 Promo !

Apple will be shipping the Iphone 4 soon so it's time promote the baby here's a couple of cool examples.

1. Tokyo,Japan iPhone 4 advertising in the  subway. Really cool idea Idea but apparently it is a hoax :)

2. Extremely funny parody of the official Apple’s iPhone 4 promo video, where "actors" get over enthousiastic over features that have been here for ages like video calls...

The Ipad is NOT useless !

A lot of people still dare to claim that the Ipad is useless. I have a question for them:

Can you do this with your laptop?

Old school Advertising vs. Social Media

I just discovered this great presentation analysing the differences between old school advertising and the use of social media. It was actually "liked" by one of my facebook friends Mehdi Lamloum, wich underlines the importance of having "smart" friends on facebook, considering the amazing amount of time that most of us spend on that social network, and also considering the amount of crap circulating around on facebook.

That being said I would like to get back to the presentation. The author, Nicole Sanberg is a creative director at IN10 a "creative & digital shop" (a cool name for ad agency I guess?) located in Rotterdam, and teaches us through a very well design slideshow how:

-Today, there's 15,740 self proclaimed "social media" expert on twitter. (based on bios)

-"The web is not a destination it is a social media operating system"...I love this point :)

-Brands need to "deliver service instead of messages. Service that makes life easier or more fun".

-And a couple of other interesting facts...

Social media is a hype and advertising sucks.

As I'm writing this blog post Steve Jobs is presenting the last version of the legendary Apple Phone. It won't be called Iphone 4G, neither Iphone HD, but it will be simply called Iphone 4.  The phone will have up to 32GB of storage; Quad-band HSPDPA/HSUPA. 7.2Mbps down; 5.8 Mbps up. Dual mic for noise suppression; 802.11n; GPS + Bluetooth.

It will also feature a 3 axis Gyroscope ( Don't really know what it's used for but time and apps will tell us)

An Imovie app

Steve Jobs also annouced that this "favorite stat of the whole show:" Apple has paid app developers a total of $1 billion.
